As we continue to venture into the thick of a global crisis, many individuals are struggling with confusion, concerns, and stress. Several members of our community have expressed an interest and need for mental and emotional support. In response to our community’s request, The Balanced Woman is pleased to announce that it will be offering mental health workshop sessions in the coming weeks while our nation fights to regain control over the recent pandemic.
Guided by MSW intern, Kate Malizio, The Balanced Woman will host its first Soothe the Soul women’s workshop this week on Friday, March 27th at 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. During this digital event, which will be conducted live via Zoom conferencing, we will be covering a variety of topics relevant to these difficult times and to the everyday lives of women. We will discuss tools for combating anxiety and depression in a time of crisis, along with a variety of methods on how to help renew and replenish the mind, body, and soul. We will also share the floor with our participants, as this is experience aims to provide a collaborative and interactive experience. We also welcome special requests for any future event topics.
We will be limiting these group conferences to a minimum of 8-10 people at a time, so to give as much support and attention to each person individually. You can register for this group at our website HERE.
