Dear Community,

We at The Balanced Woman would like to extend our support to you during this time of uncertainty and tension. As healthcare professionals, we take pride in providing the safest quality care to our patients. We would like to keep you as informed and up-to-date as possible while our country tries to find a solution to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of now, none of our patients or affiliated staff have been reported to be infected with the virus. At this time, The Balanced Woman continues to stay open during regular business hours and is taking all precautions to maintain a safe and healthy office environment. That being said, we would like to ask anyone who has a fever, cold, or flu-like symptoms to please stay at home and reschedule your appointments for a later date. If you feel you need immediate medical assistance, please call 911 or report to your local hospital.

Symptoms of the COVID-19, known as the Coronavirus include:

  • Shortness of breath
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Body aches
  • Sore throat

We’d also like to remind you that it is allergy season and some of these symptoms may be persisting for you at this time. Be aware that allergy symptoms usually won’t induce a fever and body aches and they may also include symptoms such as:

  • Sneezing
  • Itchy eyes and throat
  • Runny nose and eyes

While there is still no cure for the virus, healthcare officials are working hard to hopefully develop a vaccine or medication down the line. Symptoms can vary from person to person and may present themselves as mild to severe. Please take extra safety measure into account if you or someone you are close to is an individual of high risk, I.E. a senior citizen, a person with a weakened immune system, or someone who has an underlying respiratory condition.

We hope that everyone is well and we wish you and your family a healthy start tonSpring. We look forward to having you in and urge you to call us with any medical questions you may have.

Sincerely,
Dr. Lisa Lambert and The Balanced Woman
